Yes, I know that May has just begun but I wanted to get these pictures of Heather's Penultimate Prom (well...hopefully--look it up) out there. She went with a good friend, Daniel Goodrich and according to her it was a "blast". It really is a shame that the parents can't tag along, incognito, to see if all the long hours of making the dress modest and "poofy", and if being kicked out of the kitchen/family room for the night-before "pre-prom preparations party"--(For those with only boys--this is the face-mask-manicure-pedicure-new make-up techniques-popcorn-smoothies and a chick-flick-keep the parent up-giggling gathering)--is all worth it!
Wasn't it just yesterday when we moved to Springville and Heather was just 18 months old and now today she is well into her 18th year! "Our life as a dream, our time as a stream..."
Wow! Beautiful young lady, cute hair,lovely dress, it all looks so fun. We never had to deal with a "pre-prom preparations party". Having a son go to Prom is not as exciting as the whole girl thing. Actually, that was O.K.!

Yeah, I remember when she and I were best buds and she'd follow me around everywhere. I loved it and miss it! She'll always be my Heather Bug! :)
